The Designer
A childhood dream
The founder of CAMILLE BARRÈS was born in the South of France, in Nice. She spent her entire childhood and adolescence there. At the age of 17, she left for Paris to study fashion design for three years at the École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne.
During her studies she was particularly interested in drawing techniques, knitting and textile design.
She did several internships in a costume design workshop (Les Vertugadins), and in major Parisian fashion houses such as CÉLINE, Nina Ricci or Paul&Joe.
Having learned from her experiences, and wishing to create her own fashion house from a young age, Camille Barrès decided to follow a training course to learn about the world of entrepreneurship.
After two years of preparation, the CAMILLE BARRÈS concept was born. From a desire to offer a targeted, personalized service, she thinks and makes her wedding gowns according to each of her customers. A company, with values that bring people together, that offers unique, custom-made, hand-finished dresses in her workshop in Paris.
